The students of Nakanyonyi Senior secondary school in Mukono district, Central Uganda woke  up to sad news of unconscious friends and those in serious stomach ache on  Thursday 20th July 2023. It all started in the evening hours of wednesday 19th July 2023  after students had had supper and went for prep lessons.  Students then started complaining of stomach ache during prep and many of them felt discomfort and could not continue with the prep. Therefore the  school came in and started giving first aid but the pain and discomfort persisted in most of the learners  until morning.  When the learners were supposed to wake up in the morning, many of them were still feeling stomach ache and others even ran unconscious on critical conditions  Those who became unconscious were rushed to nearby  hospitals with ambulances through the help of the Uganda police  since no one in the neighborhood could manage to enter inside due to investigations...

The long awaited Primary Leaving Examinations results for 2022 has now officially been released by the first Lady and the minister for education and Sports, Janet Kataha Museveni. The results which were released on 27th January 2023 has been highlighted in summary  showing an improvement in the performance although there are a number of candidates who failed.  On a sad note a total of 97,109 candidates failed the Primary Leaving Examinations for 2022. The long awaited Primary Leaving Examinations results will be finally released this Friday 27th January 2023 just a day after celebrating the NRM liberation day . Many people in Uganda had expected PLE to be released last week but to their dismay, it didn't happen like they had expected.  UNEB had cited delays in the results of PLE results for 2022 to have difficulty in scheduling a meeting with the minister for education and Sports, the first Lady, Janet Kataha Museveni.  It's a tradition in uganda that before PLE results are released, UNEB has to brief the minister of Education and Sports about the results two days before the official release of the results.  The minister for education and Sports, therefore having met the team of UNEB officials on Wednesday 25th,January, 2023 will release the PLE results for 2022 on Friday, 27th January, 2023 beginning with a briefing at 11:00am.click the link on blue ink to watch the video.. ple release update 2023
