Nakanyonyi SSS food poisoning of students

The students of Nakanyonyi Senior secondary school in Mukono district, Central Uganda woke  up to sad news of unconscious friends and those in serious stomach ache on  Thursday 20th July 2023.

It all started in the evening hours of wednesday 19th July 2023  after students had had supper and went for prep lessons. 

Students then started complaining of stomach ache during prep and many of them felt discomfort and could not continue with the prep.

Therefore the  school came in and started giving first aid but the pain and discomfort persisted in most of the learners  until morning. 

When the learners were supposed to wake up in the morning, many of them were still feeling stomach ache and others even ran unconscious on critical conditions 

Those who became unconscious were rushed to nearby  hospitals with ambulances through the help of the Uganda police  since no one in the neighborhood could manage to enter inside due to investigations  that were  ongoing.  

There has been suspicion that  the nearby neighborhood  could not  establis fish dk..
